Today, Bellevue's Mayor Charlie Cleves spoke to Grandview Elementary's Third Graders about the responsibilities of a Mayor and helped them learn about how local government works.

Maybe a future Mayor was sitting in the Third Grade today!

REMINDER FOR OUR GRANDVIEW ELEMENTARY FAMILIES! Join us for GES Curriculum Night on September 30th from 4:30–6:00 PM! The evening is designed for parents to: - Learn about new opportunities for our students - Better understand the curriculum being used - Have time to ask teachers and administrators questions Students who attend with their parents will have activities and books available while parents are in sessions. Schedule for the Evening: - Welcome / Move to Meeting Location: 4:30–4:35 - Session 1: 4:35–4:55 K–2 in Commons / 3–5 in Library - Session 2 (Dinner): 5:00–5:30 - Session 3: 5:35–5:55 Same sessions as Session 1 (for parents who couldn’t attend earlier, or for those with students in both K–2 and 3–5 who need to attend both sessions). If you only have students in either K–2 or 3–5 and attended Session 1, you are free to leave after dinner—just don’t forget to grab a book from our book cart before you head out! #LoveTheVue #TigerPride
